Hart Motor Company was founded in 1937 by E.P. "Jeff" Hart, selling Oldsmobiles.  Quickly building a reputation for reliable service, quality workmanship and dependability, the dealership managed to continue growth in spite of World War II when no new cars were produced.

In 1971, Hart Motors undertook the construction of a new, larger and more modern facility that finally opened it's doors in 1973. This facility is still expanding and serving customers today. Continuing the growth, the GMC truck line-up was added in 1991 followed closely by Saturn of Roanoke Valley which opened it's doors for business in April 1991. Our Hart Kia store opened it's doors in 1996 while our newest addition came in 2005 when we added Suzuki to our lot.
